    Successful Love the Ladies!

    We wrapped up the Love the Ladies service project! You donated 110 packages of feminine hygiene products for women in need! Thank you, McLean County Democrats! These products will be split between Neville House, St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, and Home Sweet Home Mission. Didn't bring in your donation in time? You can still donate online to Project Love the Ladies!

    Go Green with First Friday!

      The theme for the First Friday in April was Go Green! event was Go Green! With over 100 Democrats and new visitors to the headquarters, we served up organic and vegan refreshments, wine and beer. Art assemblages by local artists from upcycled objects were on display. Information was available about recycling, environmental groups, solar panels and renewal energy, and organic food.

    Municipal Election Night 2019

      Last night, we made the rounds to several watch parties. We thanked incumbents for representing us and for running again. We congratulated new candidates on their wins and thanked everyone for stepping into the arena. Like never before, progressive candidates shined a light on important local issues and gave voters choices. Thank you to all of these candidates and their campaign teams. We know democracy takes a lot of work and we're proud of your efforts.

    "Everything will be fine, I saw the sign"

    As you probably already know, the McLean County Democrats have a new permanent headquarters! Located in historic Downtown Bloomington at 422 N. Main St. , we can now open our office daily as a gathering place for meetings, committee work, and community events. This new, permanent home will send the message that we are a vital part of the community and our growing Party is here to stay!     McLean County Democrats reaction to Mueller Report Summary

    The summary report by Trump's Attorney General raises as many questions as it answers. Now, more than ever, it is imperative that 1) Congress performs its Constitutional Duty and continues to investigate any and all potential crimes committed by this administration and 2) we remember that the only way we'll get this President out of office is at the ballot box in 2020. We join Democrats around the country in demanding that the Mueller report be made public as soon as possible.
