CHAIR UPDATE

Hello Fellow Democrats,

Below are a few takeaways I thought important to share with you from Civiqs and Rust Belt Rising's final poll. This poll consisted of 2,289 likely voters.

  • Overall battleground results: 51% Biden, 46% Trump, 3% other, 1% unsure

  • The gap in a voting method is profound: 71% of Republicans will vote on Election Day versus 22% of Democrats. Among Democrats, using a dropbox for their ballot submission went up from 31% to 37% since last month.

  • 67% want to protect and expand health care, selecting different steps to do so. Only 23% want to repeal the ACA.

  • Voters were clear on identifying the remedy: 41% pointed to a change in the political situation — they want Trump gone. A distant second is a change in job/finances. Despite the pandemic, a change in people’s 'health situation' was far down in 4th place.

As we engage with our friends, networks and voters sharing important opinions and information like the aforementioned should help make those conversations a bit more manageable.

Keep up the great work! We're almost there.

Chairwoman Richards
